In our struggle to find balance, many of us women give up our hobbies and pursuits or simply’can’t find the time’ for them. Others might be’career obsessed’ and have been working so hard they barely know how to differentiate themselves outside their careers. Often in these times, we lose touch with our values and interests, only noticing them through a rare vacation or a life changing incident that forces us to stop and recognize what’s happening.

I remember the sting as my boss, several colleagues and friends judged me for leaving. Some, convinced I was making a mistake to leave a stylish, lucrative job, even made dire predictions about my future.

Know Your Options- These days many companies who allow their employees to work at home. Working mothers should make full use of such options. This way you’ll be able to spend more time with your loved ones and work within the comforts of your house. It’s a win-win situation if you are able to prioritize what to do and when to do. However, you can face trouble concentrating on the job if your children are running around.

Hard work needs an ethic to be sustained. Assessing the pursuit of material success needs the appropriate tools and a plan. Imagination needs underlying purpose to stay creative. The energy for not only yourself but also all involved in your life plan comes from a deep well. Your"WHY" is that well that feeds work ethic, energy and creativity. This makes this concept so important and it should not be taken lightly.

I believe we need to address 4 things: Fear Understanding Option and Kinsman boat (I challenge you to overlook this acronym). Once we’ve addressed these in relation to ourselves we should also consider that those who work for us have precisely the same issues.

I’ve focused on my why for doing just about anything and it has helped me structure what I was looking for and to pursue it with enthusiasm. I found that determining why I wanted certain things allowed me to determine their importance. work life balance for me meant obtaining these goals while I kept a full dedicated family life without interruption.

    Let
helpful resources face it. However good you happen to be at multitasking, you are no Superman or Superwoman. If you end up overwhelmed with little tasks, take a peek at what you need to do and ask yourself if there’s somebody else who will help you tackle your errands.
