I guess it was right round 9:30 AM om a sunny day. I had just gone by way of my regular regimen of catching up with the goings on on this planet and other such mundane duties that one typically turns right into a morning behavior.

Then, having somewhat time to kill, I walked over to the window, and every other plans I might have had have been put on hold.

It was a beautiful, sunny South Carolina morning, and i decided that I ought to be outside and taking in the weather.

So, on with the strolling sneakers, and out the door I went.

But, just earlier than leaving the house, my Nikon Camera caught my eye, lying so lonely on the side desk near the door.

So, I grabbed it additionally and stuffed it into my pocket.

It solely took a 1/4 of a mile or so earlier than many of the kinks have been labored out of my physique, and i may relax into my own walking tempo. It was probably a gradual pace for most individuals, but one which works for me.

And, as I made my first turn onto a facet avenue, there it was; a good looking butterfly crossed my path and landed on a flowering bush immediately in entrance of me.

I stopped and pulled out the camera, and realized that I had to make a decision; was I walking for the exercise, or was I strolling for the beauty of the walk?

Then, a flutter of another butterfly’s wings simply down the road made up my mind for me.

It was going to be a walk simply to take pleasure in the great thing about all of it.

    and i finally passed those

pains and strains of outdated age,

    and yesterday’s youthful abuses.

    Lastly, my physique

    kicked into gear,

    the sweat started to run,

    and my labored breathing

    went from heaving

    to even.

    My thoughts cleared

    and that i realized

    the abundant colors and motions

in the yards and fields round me,

So I raised my digital camera

and that i started to shoot,

I stored to my original tempo.

    with sweat still dripping,

    from my brow,

    alongside the best way..

    However then I remembered,

    how fleeting was the life

    of every fluttering insect

    I was capturing so boldly.

    So, I lastly slowed,

    and concentrated

on their brief second of glory.

    Eventually although

    the stroll was over

    and I was finally Dwelling,
