Today is a big news day for Rashida Jones fans, nail salon fans, and general television fans, as it was announced that Jones and her writing/producing partner Will McCormack have a new show in the works for HBO. It’s about a nail salon, and it’s called Claws. I mean, really.
According to Deadline, it will be a single camera, half-hour show described as a midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir about a nail salon in Florida and the strange, dangerous women who work there. We’ve all been to that salon, right? Very exciting news for the pair, as this caps off a huge year, with Claws being the third show they have sold. We’ll definitely be tuning in.
