Naily News: Clinique launches ‘A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin’

Can you remember the last time Clinique had a nail polish on counters? Neither can we (it was a few years ago, FYI). But they have just launched the tongue twisting ‘A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin’ Nail Color and we are excited.

Clinique has brought out this range of nail polish in response to that unfortunate segment of the market that are allergic to most mainstream nail polishes. Imagine painting your nails, rubbing your eye, and then breaking out in a rash. Ouch. The formula has been in development for about 6 years and has been rigorously tested by dermatologists and opthamologists. While we don’t understand the exact chemical make up of the formula, Clinique asserts that the formula has been designed to minimize allergic reactions. If you get allergic reactions from polish, please let us know if you try this polish and what you think.

The permanent collection is full of classics like pink and red, and even includes cult favorite Black Honey (we swoon), while the limited edition summer 2013 collection is loaded with on trend neons and brights. Yellow is hard to wear, but we love the bright and cheerful 70° and Sunny and will be rocking it as often as possible over the coming months.

Polishes are $16 and are available now on the Clinique website and Nordstrom website
