Spotted on the runway at Betsey Johnson’s NYFW show, models were rocking liquid mercury* on fingers and toes. Lead manicurist Danielle Cadido used Morgan Taylor Lacquer to create the molten metal nails, layering three polishes for the final effect: You Could Have Foiled Me (a solid silver metal), a layer of Adorned in Diamonds (metallic baby pink with a lick of shimmer), and finishing with with The Sweetest Thing (darker metallic pink glitter) for a sparkly effect on the tip.
Look at those beautiful silver toes! We might be coming into boot season, but this color is guaranteed to make you smile every time you pull off your socks.
*note: not actually liquid mercury. That would be a bit silly, don’t you think?
