Happy Monday everyone! Today we wanted to share with you some insider pics and information about an amazing event that happened a few weeks ago in Melbourne Australia. Salon Melbourne Expo was visited by thousands and thousands of beauty therapists, students and salon owners on the 5th and 6th of March. This year, celebrity manicurist and educator Mandi Levanah created the Nail Hub, which was the most successful section of this year’s expo!
The Nail Hub explored topics from learning the latest in color trends to perfecting gel nails, providing hourly ‘How To’ workshops for both nail technicians and novices. The most sought-after ticket was to the ‘Freehand Nail Workshop with nail artist Cleopatra Tucker, aka ‘CutieCoolz’. Cleo hosted multiple workshops on both the Saturday and the Sunday, where she worked directly with nail technicians who wanted to learn how to do nail art. We think that these one-on-one workshops were a great way for members of the industry to learn new skills from each other!
