Naily News: Tip Flops pedicure flip flops

We’ve all been there – you’re at the salon getting a pedicure, or at home doing your own, and then you need to go and do stuff. It might be run errands, make dinner, pick up the kids, or get back to work; either way you just need to get moving, but you have to wait another 20 minutes for your toenails to dry properly. Kevin Rutledge, the creator of Tip Flops, says “Stop Waiting & Start Walking”. This is definitely a message we can get behind!

Tip Flops are flip flops with toe separators. While the concept isn’t new, we like the Tip Flops spin on things – these are heavy duty flip flops (or thongs, as the Australians say) made from EVA foam, with a full rubber sole. The foam means they are comfortable, the rubber sole means they are durable, and the expandable rubber of the toe rings means they will mould to fit you just right. Plus, if you have ever worn toe separators you know just how good they are for your body – great for balance, great for bunions, and great for reducing the risk of crooked feet. If you cram your feet into tight shoes and pointy toed heels regularly, these will be welcome relief.

Rutledge is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, raising funds to put the product into production. Pop over and check the page out – one of the rewards was paying to have the creator tattoo the trademark on the sole of his foot, and he did it! Sole tattoos…new trend? That’s another story for another day.
