Top 10 Pastel Polishes for Easter 2.0

This time last year we wrote a post about the best pastel polishes for Easter, but since the pastel trend has decided to kick-on for another year (hooray) we have decided to clue in our fabulous readers on some of the new season’s top pastels!

1. NCLA – Lavish Spender

This pastel green base with bright purple, green and white glitter combo is a beautiful polish that is great for the Easter springtime. This is our favorite color from the Duchess of LA line, all of which are beautiful pastel bases with brightly colored glitter throughout but at $18 a pop we will be limiting ourselves to buying just the one color!

2. Deborah Lippmann – Calypso Nail Color Duo

This duo is the ultimate combination of pastel and bling! Mermaid’s dream is a dreamy aqua blue and Flowers in her Hair is a brighter aqua and blue glitter topcoat that matches perfectly. Plus you get two polishes and a sparkly pouch for only $19 from Nordstrom, also did we mention free shipping?

3. Dior – Vernis Blossoming Top Coat

This limited edition topcoat is in the form of Dior’s regular gel topcoat, but has varying shapes of pastel blue and green glitter throughout. The colors are perfect for Easter (but we love it so much we will definitely be using it all through spring). It can be used on a naked nail or as a topcoat, which makes it even more versatile, and worth the slightly exorbitant $28 price tag!

4. Essie – Borrowed and Blue

Although this pastel, shimmery blue is from their Winter collection it is the perfect color to transition you from the icy winter we have been experiencing into a (hopefully) warm and glorious Spring! Bonus points to Essie for creating a pastel blue polish that only requires 2 coats (and not what seems like 20, a la most pastel polishes)!

5. OPI – That’s Hula-rious!

One of the three amazing pastels in OPI’s new Hawaii collection; That’s Hula-rious! is the perfect pastel mint green for Spring!

6. OPI – Is Mai-Tai Crooked?

Technically this orange crème might not be classified as a pastel, but we love the soft orange/guava color of this polish. Just imagine how cute it will be with Easter egg nail art!

7. OPI – Suzi Shops and Island Hops

This incredible pink is the exact color of a musk stick lolly (if confused just ask an Australian, they will explain) and is the perfect pink for Easter time. Doesn’t it just make you think of eggs?

8. Sephora Formula X – Lively

This pastel yellow will look great on any skin tone and like Suzi Shops and Island Hops, will look great as a base color and in nail art too!

9. Nails Inc – Spring/Summer Mini Gel Effect collection

This set of 6 minis has some beautiful pastels for Spring and is a steal for $29 at Sephora!

10. Ciate – Ice Cream Collection

This limited edition collection has five (yes five) gorgeous pastels and comes with ‘melting ice cream’ nail decals. Ciate has improved their pastel formula so it requires fewer coats and isn’t streaky at all, yay! We can’t wait to rock these colors ASAP!

Also a bonus shout-out to my all time favorite pastel polish, Sally Hansen ‘Lacey Lilac’ which I have on currently and is the perfect pastel purple shade that goes on so smoothly and gives a gorgeous mani in just one coat!
