How To Put the Glamour Back Into Your Relationship – With Your Nails!

Valentine’s Day, is a day of celebrating love and romance but also a good time to reflect on your relationships with your friends, family and colleagues. If you are celebrating this Valentine’s Day and want it to be more than just dinner and candles, we have a few tips to make the day a little more chic. Of course at pedicure.com we mean for you to start with your nails, do something a little more glamorous than you normally do and step outside of your routine with these fresh ideas:

  1.     Treat yourself – Go somewhere a bit more upmarket than you usually would or add an additional nail treatment to the mix. You can take it up a level by going to a salon or spa you have always wanted to try. You could also splurge on that special manicure treatment you’ve always wanted. It’s a special day after all and you want to look and feel your best.
  2.     Mix it Up – Go for a different color to the V-Day cliche of pink or bright red, instead try a dark purple or a burgundy. When you’re choosing a color, think of the most glamorous person you can, whether it’s a celebrity you love or someone in your life who oozes style and sophistication. You can step into their shoes for a night by choosing a color they would wear. We like to call this style biting.
  3.     Bring your significant other – this can be anyone, not just your boyfriend or girlfriend! Men getting their nails done is become more and more popular these days, just ask Isaiah from our Nailing It column. If you don’t have a partner, gather a couple of your friends and treat yourself to a glamorous spa day. Then follow tip 1 and 2 to share the glamour with the people in your life that you love.
