If you’re like me, Christmas starts late in November and it truly is the most wonderful time of the year (as the song goes). One of the my most loved traditions each year is to go to my favorite salon for a special Christmas Manicure, think red, gold and glitter! I have searched the web to find the best Christmas manicure inspiration so you can do it yourself, or take a picture to your manicurist and have a professional help you.
DIY Christmas Nail Art
These nails are just adorable, if you have the skill to paint these I applaud you, unfortunately my nail art skills are fairly limited so I will only be rocking these in my dreams.
Christmas Baubles
These can be easily recreated using a striper brush and a large dotter. Just use the striper to paint the ribbon then using the large dotter dot a circle for the bauble and voila!
Glitter Holly
These nails are simple and gorgeous, you can use a dotter to make the holly and berries and pair them with red and green glitter for some Christmas cheer!
Christmas Ombre Glitter
We love this idea and it’s super versatile, you can make it subtle like the photo above or go glitter crazy!

This manicure is so sweet and super easy you just need tape and a steady hand!
As for my Christmas manicure, I’m currently rocking a CND Shellac color called “Dark Lava” which is a gorgeous deep red/purple color with gold and pink glitter. Closer to Christmas I will go bright red and sparkly, because it’s tradition!
